Actually, I felt tired those two weeks.
WHY?
I got a job in the factory since I arrived TAS.
In the begining, the factory was full of workers
in day shift. It meant I must start working
in night shift. It was fine in the begining.
My roommate, Maki, Japanese girl who I met last year
came back as well, works in day shift.
The problem is we effect each other a lot.
She has get up at 5:45 am, at the time, I just
slept for 5 hours.
I came back at 12:30am, at the time, she is sleeping.
We all couldn't sleep well because different wroking time.
We asked our boss to switch me if anyone else wants to
go to night shift or when the factory has the vacancy.
Our boss, Ian, promises us he will put me in day shift
as soon as possible.
The first week passed, he promised me I can work in day
shift next week. The second week passed, he didn't say
anything about the switching of my working time. We were
all disppointed of this because we knew someone quits this week.
We thought he just wanted to
comfort us, but he didn't want to bring me to day shift.
At the moment, I had another idea. I told myself if I
can't work in day time in two weeks, I will quit, and go
picking apple. I didn't tell Ian about my decision because
I don't want let him feel I threaten him.
The next day after I made the decision, I went to work.
I asked Ian when can I go day shift again, and he said:
next Monday. What a big surprise!! I was not sure at
the moment. The next day, our supervisor, Yasar, of night
shift told the other worker "This girl will leave us next
Monday to day shift, she doesn't want to work with us."
Haha, definately not because of this. I told them something
about the schedule of Maki and I. They realized that's
a big problem and didn't say anything more.
From next Monday, 19th Feb, I will work in day shift.
I start work at 7:00 am until 3:30 pm during week days.
It is 4:00am to 1:30 pm in Taiwan now. Because now is
summer. We have 3 hours time difference.
Anyway, I can work in day time, that's the best New Year
present for me.
